They initially struggled with sluggish sales, but as time progressed and more customers tasted their food they were a hit in town! Q: What was Sushi Tuesdays? A: Sushi Tuesdays was a weekly occurring event where Yisoon and Tae Mo prepared traditional Kimbap sushi. Q: Why does Shin La no longer provide banchan (small dishes of food served along with cooked rice in Korean cuisine)? A: Yisoon and Tae Mo wanted to provide a traditional Korean dining experience that entailed the banchan dishes illustrated to the left, but the large amount of waste that resulted impelled us to discontinue the offering. Q: What do you use in your cooking? A: We use high-grade vegetable oil for all our cooking. Rest assured, we use no nuts in any of our dishes. We also add no MSG to our dishes, just love and care. |
